Charlie Chaplin Museum Foundation and its Friends Circle
The Charlie Chaplin Museum Foundation is a non-profit organisation set up in April 2001 with the aim of creating a museum dedicated to the life and work of Chaplin in his own home, the Manoir de Ban in Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland.
The Foundation’s mission is to promote the development of Chaplin’s World and its future evolution through a programme of cultural activities, while ensuring that its ethical values are respected.
In particular, it organises and participates in charitable, social and humanitarian activities, as well as those related to the promotion of arts and culture, in Switzerland and around the world, in order to pursue its mission and disseminate the humanist values associated with Charlie Chaplin.
In 2022, the Foundation launches a “Charlie Chaplin Museum Foundation Friends Circle”, which aims to bring together individuals or organizations that support its activities and development, particularly via fundraising and promotion among patrons and backers.
« As Vice-President of the Circle, Dominique Brustlein-Bobst accompanies its creation and development with her energy and her experience, creating the synergies that make the strength and success of any action and organisation that carries ethical and humanist values».
